Dennis Creffield (29.01.31 – 26.06.18) was a painter
and draughtsman best known for his English
Cathedrals series, commissioned by the Arts Council. Commissions
to draw the Houses of Parliament, Welsh and English castles and the cathedrals
of northern France followed.
The Giggleswick Chapel collection, commissioned by Art Collector, OG and Governor, Roger Moss OBE (Style 54), consists of three charcoal sketches of the exterior of the chapel. This signed print is from a limited-edition print run of 200.
Creffield's work is owned by many major British and worldwide
art collections, including the Tate Gallery, The British Museum, and the Arts
Council of England.
